2016当代音乐周国际学生作品征集

A Call of Composition for International Students 
 
As a part of master-class of the New Music Week of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the call of composition aims to encourage students to compose more creative and excellent works.
 
Five entries will be selected by four composers: Dan Yuhas(Israel), Shuya Xu(China), Guohui Ye (China) and Deqing Wen (Switzerland). The Final concert will be held at 15:00-17:00 pm 27th September 2016 by Israel Contemporary Players. Two residence composers Tristan Murail and Zhou Long will give their comments on the five selected pieces at the Master-Class for International Students Works Concert.
New Music Week will provide travel tickets and necessary accommodations for the selected finalists, along with all the tickets of concerts and lectures during the period of 23rd - 28th Sept. 2016. 
 
Rules for Eligibility:
1. The candidates must be students at the time applying (no nationality or age limited) and only one work for each participant to submit. 
2.The submitted work must be within 5-7 minutes in duration.
3.Required instrumentations are as follows:
Flute, Oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, percussion, piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass.
4. The entry work must be composed after 2015.
5.The participant must provide the full score, part score in PDF and student ID card’s scanning picture, photograph, phone-number, email address, postal address, the biography of composer and introduction of composition which are in Chinese or English and each should be within 100 words to This email address is being protected from spambots. 6. All the selected finalists must be sure to participate the rehearsal and attend the concert.
7.All the selected finalists of edition 2015 are not eligible for submissions for the call of edition 2016.
