The finalists of the 2014 A Call of Composition for International Students
Five entries were selected by three composers and professors: Ye Guohui, Wen Deqing , Chen Musheng. The Final concert will be held at 3:00 p.m. 13th October. 2014 at the Library’s Academic Hall of Shanghai Conservatory of Music by By Ensemble Scenatet of Danmark. Three famous professors who are the festival residence composers Bruno Mantovani, William Blank and CHEN Qigang will give their comments on the five selected pieces at the Master-Class for International Students Works Concert.
New Music Week will provide necessary accommodations for the selected finalists, along with all the tickets of concerts and lectures during the period of 10th - 15th Oct. 2014 (the participants who are from places outside of Shanghai or overseas will pay their own travel tickets).
